Mercury retrograde

Three or four times a year Mercury, seen from Earth, seems to move backwards for about three weeks. Nothing reverses in space: Mercury passes Earth on its faster, inner orbit, and our changing view makes it appear to move backwards against the stars. Astrology reads the period as a time for re-doing rather than doing: re-reading, re-checking, re-connecting with people, and returning to plans that were left half-finished.

Not a reason to stop living. Contracts are signed, trains run, phones work. If the symbolism is useful to you, the old advice is to read twice: give an important message a second look, and return to a conversation that was left unfinished when the chance comes.
