Privacy
You can read the site without an account and without giving your name. If you ask us to remember your sign, choose a language or the southern sky, the site keeps each choice in its own cookie in your browser for a year, and you can delete these cookies in your browser at any time. Cookies for advertising and for your choices about it are described below. Your browser works out your sign from the birthday you enter, and the birthday is never sent anywhere. Your choice of a light or dark look stays in your browser's storage.
The app needs an account. You sign in with Google, or on iOS also with Apple, and we receive an account identifier, the name and email address your provider shares and, with Google, your profile picture. We keep your settings, including your sign, on our servers for as long as your account exists, so that they are the same on all your devices, and we record the version of the terms you accepted. The morning reminder is scheduled on your device, and the app asks for notification permission where your phone requires it. If the app offers purchases, the app store handles the payment and tells us what you bought, but not your card or bank details. You can delete the account in the app or by writing to support@creomobile.com, also after you have uninstalled the app. Its data is removed from our live systems right away and from backups within 180 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
A statistics service that uses no cookies collects page views, visits, referrers, countries, devices and loading speed. Our own counts record which pages are read and in which languages, from which countries and kinds of device, where readers come from, whether a sign was remembered, and whether the page was read on the site or in the app. They carry no reader identifier and no IP address, and we keep them for three months. The app may send crash reports and usage statistics to an analytics service, without your name or email, and asks for your consent first where the law or the app store requires it. We keep such reports only as long as we need them to find and fix problems. Our servers and our delivery network keep technical logs that can include IP addresses, for security, usually for 30 to 90 days.
The site and the app may show advertising in any form, including sponsored content and partner links that can earn us a commission. Ads come from advertising partners such as Google. To show and measure ads, a partner may process technical data about your device and connection, your approximate location, an advertising identifier or cookie, and how you interact with the ads. We are responsible for placing the ads and for honouring your choices, and each partner uses the data under its own privacy policy, linked from the ad settings. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and elsewhere where the law requires it, advertising cookies, identifiers and personalised ads are used only after your consent, which you can change at any time in the ad settings. If you do not consent, you see either ads that are not personalised and use no advertising cookies or identifiers, or no ads. On iOS the app asks your permission in Apple's tracking prompt before any partner links your activity with other companies' apps and sites. Where your US state's law gives you the right, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your data and of targeted advertising in the ad settings, and we honour the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. Stellonia is not meant for children. When we know a reader is under 18, we do not personalise ads, sell their data or share it for targeted advertising.
If you write to us, our team receives your message, the page you wrote from with its sign and date, and your email if you gave one, and we keep them until the matter is closed. The form's bot check processes your IP address and browser signals to tell people from bots, and its provider also uses them to improve bot detection under its own privacy notice.
Our providers process data on our behalf and on our instructions: hosting and the database in European regions, delivery and protection of the site, and sign-in. So do the tools our team uses to read and answer your messages, which may be outside the European Economic Area. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision or the standard contractual clauses of the European Union, with the United Kingdom's additional terms where they apply, and you can ask us for a copy. Data is encrypted in transit, and access to our systems is limited to those who need it. Advertising partners act on their own behalf, as described above, and anyone who receives data from the app must protect it at least as well as this page describes. We do not sell your data for money.
You can ask what we hold about you, get a copy of it in a reusable format, and have it corrected, restricted or deleted. You can object to a use based on our legitimate interest and withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect earlier use. Write to support@creomobile.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one where you live. We rely on our contract with you for the account and purchases, on our legitimate interest for security, feedback and statistics, and on your consent for advertising and analytics where the law requires it.
